The Explorer – a «Tinder» for businesses
The Explorer launches today. Here, Norwegian, green solutions will be matched with international needs and buyers. – You may call it a “Tinder” for businesses, says the Norwegian Prime Minister, Erna Solberg.
The Prime Minister launches The Explorer at the Innovation Speech in Oslo 31st May. It was her government that gave Innovation Norway, together with the private sector, the assignment to develop such a service. The aim is to increase exports by profiling solutions from Norway.
World-class green solutions
– The global market for sustainable low-emission solutions are in rapid growth, and Norway has preconditions to take a leading role in several areas within the green shift. For example, Norway is paving the way within technology for electrification of maritime transport, says Norwegian Prime Minister, Erna Solberg.
– The Explorer gives us the opportunity to showcase top notch Norwegian, green solutions to the whole world in a simple and efficient way, says Anita Krohn Traaseth, CEO of Innovation Norway.
The Explorer is part of the national export initiative Brand Norway. It will consist over various activities, including but not limited to a brand centre with visual identity and stories about Norway and Norwegian businesses, export oriented programmes, presence at international events, and national visitors centres.
