Traditional entertaining dinner with Norwegian fish and Estonian music is happening again!

This year we will be hosted by the best restaurant in Estonia (White Guide Nordic) – Restaurant NOA at Ranna tee 3, Tallinn, on Thursday, 14th November.

One seat for the NECC/Team Norway members is 59 EUR and 69 EUR for non-members.

This 4-course Norwegian Fish Dinner is a special gourmet ceremony event that can be experienced in Estonia ONLY during this event. Norwegian Trout vs Lutefisk competition – which one tastes better?

20:15 Short Concert – “Warm Tunes For Cold Nights”

Oliver Kuusik (tenor, Estonian National Opera, London theatres/festivals)

Oliver has received his Master’s degree and Opera Studio diploma from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (Maestro Rudolf Piernay) and started his remarkable career at the Estonian National Opera with roles as Don Ramiro (Rossini’s La Cenerentola), Ferrando (Mozart’s Così fan tutte) ect. His operatic roles in Estonia as well as abroad have been highly recognized. His range covers everything from the classical masters to the most contemporary operas.

Oliver is highly sought after as an oratorio soloist and performer of chamber music and is no stranger even to the musical theatre. He is the winner of awards at a number of contests and the recipient of government prizes. Oliver Kuusik has successfully performed in many European countries, the US and Canada.

His most important roles in London were Fenton (Verdi’s Falstaff), Polidoro (Mozart’s La Finta Semplice), Der Weise (Hindemith’s Hin und Zurück), Torquemada (Ravel L’heure Espagnol), Edwin (Gilbert and Sullivan’s Trial by Jury at the International Gilber and Sullivani Festival, UK), Brighella (Jonathan Dove’s The Little Green Swallow, premiere in the UK).

Jaak Lutsoja (accordionist, Norske Talenter)

Since graduating from the Georg Ots Music School in 1991, Jaak Lutsoja has worked as a freelance accordionist.
Simultaneously with his career as a musician, he has also composed music and his CD Contrarian Grooving has twice been chosen as the CD of the week on Europa Radio Jazz.  In 2017, he received the title of laureate at the Theatre Year Awards for the best original score for the production of Soo at the Ugala Theatre. Since the autumn of 2017, he has been teaching at the Gjestal Culture School in Norway. He has also participated in several Norwegian musicals and at the moment he is in semifinals at Norwegian talent show Norske Talenter.
