Do you have ideas for business projects within Estonia that are related to innovative products, services, processes and digitalisation of industries? The Green ICT Programme is a relevant funding source for Estonian businesses and Norwegian project partners.
On October 15, 2018, Estonia will launch its Green ICT Programme for developing innovative businesses under the Norway Grants. “This means great opportunities for Norwegian companies who wish to establish collaboration/ co-operation with Estonian enterprises”, says Frauke Muth, Country Responsible in Innovation Norway.
Norwegian companies and research institutes can participate in joint projects with the beneficiary countries. The event will open the application period for the Small Grant Scheme.
Estonian companies with the aim to apply for the main call can apply for a Small Grant (studies, analyses, expertise, etc.). Partner search activities towards Norwegian companies and research institutes are also supported under the Small Grant Scheme. The maximum project length is four months.
The main call for projects is expected to be launched in May, 2019. The projects can be implemented until 2024.
The Green ICT Programme will focus on two main pillars:
- development of innovative ICT-led green products, services and processes in the area of Green Industry Innovation and ICT (digitalisation of industries and product development for ICT-related topics)
- development of new products and services in the area of welfare technology (personalised medicine).
“The EEA and Norway Grants are the most important export and internationalisation tools for Norwegian businesses with an interest in the Estonian market”, says Muth.
Norwegian companies who register for the launching event on October 15, are eligible for free accommodation and participation in the opening event and dinner (the contact person for Norwegian companies is Frauke Muth from Innovation Norway firstname.lastname@example.org).
The opening seminar offers plenty of opportunities for companies to explore the possibilities of the Green ICT programme in more detail and to find partners for further development of their business ideas and networking.
Registration for the seminar is already open. The registration and seminar programme are available here.
